Аннотация

На основе индекса эффективности государственного управления в Африке Ibrahim Index of African Governance (IIAG) и данных о темпах экономического роста Всемирного банка в настоящем исследовании используется методология оценки риска для определения взаимосвязи между коррупцией и экономическим ростом в Зимбабве. Отмечая рост коррупции в сочетании с негативными экономическими показателями, исследование дает информацию для новой политической администрации, стремящейся бороться с коррупцией. Исследование подтверждает наличие однонаправленной причинно-следственной связи между коррупцией и экономическим ростом и отрицательной импульсной реакцией. Чтобы увеличить благосостояние экономики в будущем, необходимы противодействия коррупции.
